(Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration)
That was the first event we organized as freshmen. We put up a skit and held a competition featuring the best dressed, shapely ladies in cheongsam that wow the audience, also not forgetting attractive prizes which send our lucky winners home with smiles. After the performances, our guests took a walk at the bazaar outside which exhibits toys that our parents played when they were young and yummy food; five stones, miniature toys, malt candy, etc.
Hong Kong Overseas Educational Trip
We mark off the year with a year end trip to Hong Kong to investigate their education systems, and to understand how Chinese lessons were conducted, while we shared with them what we had here in Singapore. During our stay in Hong Kong, we went to St Margaret Co-educational English Secondary & Primary School and Evangel College; we would always be greeted by bubbly, enthusiastic students who never failed to brighten our day.
Apart from the observations, our amiable hosts who took us to picturesque places and restaurants with fabulously rich seafood.
